I recently listened to music with these for 5 hours straight and got to know them well. These babies are awesome. The highs are bright, the mid-range is excellent and the low-end/bass is very good. I'm amazed they can produce sound of this quality in such a small device. Bose and Klipsch have nothing on these things. And it bares repeating, the bass is VERY GOOD - almost THX quality. Taking further into account the price of these things and we're talking BEST BUY.
I ordered these a few weeks ago to use while working out. I use the smallest ear peice and it fits great. They sound good, providing a nice level of sound isolation, which is nice in a noisy gym. My one complaint, which is me being picky is that the legnth of cord going to your ears are not of equal length. You cant tell this from the picture. One side is shorter that the other. I never really understood why manufacturers did this. Anyway, I am not on the hunt for a different pair. I wish I could look past it, but I cant. (Sorry, the cable goes behind your neck instead of in front.)
These headphones are excellent for the price. I purchased these so I wouldn't have to keep deafening myself with loud music from my ipod headphones while biking to work. In the noise blocking aspect of these headphones I'm very pleased, the street I bike on is very noisy, but I hardly hear it at all anymore! In terms of sound quality these headphones aren't all that bad. When I first listened to them to judge the sound quality they sounded very tinny, but I decided to listen to them anyway and it seems you have to break them in a little because they sound just fine now! Highly recommended, well worth the $30 price of admission.
